Three delicious and easy Reishi mushroom recipes


The Reishi mushroom has a delightfully bitter taste, reminiscent of rich dark chocolate. (It’s the mushroom for all you chocolate lovers out there.) Makes 24 Servings

  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 48 raw or roasted almonds
  • 1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips
  • 3 droppers of AdaptogenShrooms Reishi Tincture
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Sea salt, to taste


  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Cut the pitted dates in half and place them on parchment paper with the cut side up.
  2. Fill two of the almonds in each date.
  3. Toast the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for about a minute, pausing each time. Once the chocolate is mostly melted, add the Reishi extract, coconut oil and sea salt to taste.
  4. Spread the chocolate mixture over the dates, adding more sea salt if desired.
  5. Allow to cool and enjoy immediately or cover and refrigerate for later!

Makes 30 servings


  • ½ cup milk (your choice of nut, oat or cow)
  • Reishi Tincture with 8 droppers AdaptogenShrooms
  • Sea salt (optional)
  • 12 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 orange, zest
  • 2 tablespoons of dark cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds


  1. Heat the milk over medium-low heat until it simmers. Transfer to a bowl, then whisk in the Reishi extract and optional pinch of sea salt.
  2. Add the chocolate and orange zest. Stir until the chocolate is melted, then refrigerate until slightly firm, about an hour.
  3. Combine the cocoa powder, hemp seeds, and a pinch of salt (optional) in a shallow bowl with a tight-fitting lid.
  4. Remove 1 tablespoon of the refrigerated chocolate mixture and shape into a truffle shape. Pour into the cocoa mixture and gently shake to coat. Do this with each scoop, about 30 truffles in total.
  5. Enjoy immediately or cover and refrigerate!


Makes 4 servings


  • 4 dropper full of AdaptogenShrooms Reishi Tincture
  • 4 or 5 slices of Astragalus root
  • 4 cups of filtered water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 teaspoons dried orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 3 star anise pods
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Milk of your choice, for serving
  • Sweetener of your choice, for serving


  1. Combine Reishi extract, Astragalus root and water in a saucepan. Heat until it simmers. Cover and keep warm for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the vanilla extract, milk and sweetener. Boil on very low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract, if desired.
  3. Strain into the teapot and serve with sweetener or milk of your choice.
