Don’t be afraid though, we wouldn’t say it’s that difficult.

Microdosing requires you to take a very specific amount of psychedelic substance. Too little and there will be no results, but too much and your day can get a little colorful.

Before consuming your mushrooms you must dry them and grind them into a powder. Something to keep in mind is that different strains of mushrooms, different individual mushrooms, and different parts of mushrooms will contain different amounts of the psychedelic substance.

While we can thank Mother Nature for providing us with the magical plant that is psilocybin, unfortunately, she hasn’t been very involved in helping us create super special shroom doses.

How much should you take when microdosing psilocybin?

Once you’ve ground your powder, it’s time to measure it.

To have a psychedelic trip to the magic mushrooms, the average person would take a dose of 3.5 grams. A microdose should be about 1/10 of that, about, or even less than, 0.35 grams. Most people microdosing get 0.3 grams, but it will really depend on things like your body size.

However, when you start microdosing, you should start with even less and then increase to 0.3 grams. For your first dose, it is recommended that you measure a dose of 0.1 grams.

Once you feel comfortable, after your first two doses, you can gradually increase the amount until you reach a dose that achieves the desired effect.

In fact, when microdosing mushrooms, you will likely follow a set schedule. such as the three-day cycle.

On the first day, you will take a dose in the morning so you can feel its effects throughout the day. Do not take the dose at night as it may affect your sleep.

Wait two days, until day four, to take your next dose.

Some people microdos on a “one day on one day off” schedule, it’s okay to experiment and find out what’s right for you.
